The Uttar Pradesh government is gearing up to make Agriculture Conclave 2.0, expected in December, an unprecedented event. Through this, more than 2 lakh farmers from across the country and the world will become familiar with Uttar Pradesh's agricultural culture. The farmers of Uttar Pradesh will also become technologically aware and enriched with new techniques. The event will be organized at the Indian Institute of Sugarcane Research in Lucknow.
After the formation of the Yogi government in 2017, Agriculture Conclave 1.0 was organized in 2018, which was quite successful. In recent days, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a high-level meeting on this. The focus was on the participation of more than 2 lakh farmers in the second edition of the Agriculture Conclave.
Directions were given to invite reputed companies/organizations in the national and international agricultural and allied sectors, agricultural universities, agricultural science centers, and progressive farmers. Countries such as Japan, Israel, Germany, and the USA were also encouraged to participate to learn about the new practices in farming and agriculture in these nations.
