The monsoon has spread across the entire country, submerging most regions in rain. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a forecast for the next five days. Here’s the weather outlook.
Regions and Forecast:
- Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh weather, and Central India: Extensive light to moderate showers accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning are anticipated.
- Himachal Pradesh, Haryana-Chandigarh-Delhi, and East Rajasthan: Scattered light to moderate rainfall is likely.
- Jammu-Kashmir-Ladakh-Gilgit-Baltistan-Muzaffarabad, Punjab, and West Rajasthan: Isolated to scattered light to moderate rainfall is anticipated.
- Goa, Maharashtra, Marathwada, Gujarat Region, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam, Telangana, and Interior Karnataka: Scattered to widespread light to moderate rainfall is expected.
- Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal, and Rayalaseema: Isolated light to moderate rainfall is likely.
Heavy Rainfall Alerts from July 08 to 12:
- Himachal Pradesh and Rajasthan: Heavy rainfall is likely at isolated places from July 10 to 12.
- Uttarakhand: Heavy rainfall is expected on July 08, 10, 11, and 12.
- Punjab: Heavy rainfall is expected on July 08.
- Haryana-Chandigarh: Heavy rainfall is likely on July 11 and 12.
- Uttar Pradesh: Heavy rainfall is expected on July 08 and 09, with very heavy rainfall likely from July 10 to 12.
- Madhya Pradesh: Heavy rainfall is anticipated from July 08 to 12.
- Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh: Heavy rainfall is expected on July 08 and 09.
- Konkan and Goa, and Central Maharashtra: Heavy rainfall is likely from July 9 to 12.
- Gujarat Region: Heavy rainfall is expected on July 09.
- Kerala and Mahe: Heavy rainfall is expected on July 08.
- Telangana: Heavy rainfall is likely on July 08 and 09.
- Coastal Karnataka: Heavy rainfall is expected on July 09, with very heavy rainfall likely on July 08, 10, 11, and 12.
- Ghat Areas of Central Maharashtra, Konkan, and Goa: Very heavy rainfall is expected on July 08.
